Miist of Kalliope

The Miist was a powerful healing elixir crafted by the war heroine, Kalliope who was a Concoction Pyrist. Its potency was believed to even raise the dead.

In her twenties, Kalliope left Fellows, her hometown on the southern border of Lanlynne to join the war efforts. During this time she honed her Concoction Pyre and develop the Miist to aid the overwhelming volume of wounded. She took many vials with her into battle where she would pull the stopper and release the Miist to the air. It would crawl over the land, miraculously healing most everything in its path.

At the battle of the Black Hills, Kalliope released her Miist but instead of healing, it unleashed a terror upon the land, destroying everything in sight, including Kalliope herself. In the wake of this horror, with so many losses and no answers, her name was desecrated and she was deemed a traitor and servant of the Murk Lord.

Decades later the riddle of the Black Hills was solved by a Bond from the Clade of Acquisitions: the Valadors.
