Kamilla was born into a rambunctious family of redheads - a twin and the only left-hander in the family.

She's been a storyteller her whole life, from stage plays and musicals to film and television.

Her debut middle grade fantasy novel Miist (The Bone Grit Historeum) is the first in a six part series and her adapted screenplay for Miist was a finalist in the prestigious Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences Nicholl Fellowship.
